A coleslaw salad consists of finely chopped vegetables - a real deterrent when it's so easily bought ready-made. However, your Dualit 700W Hand Blender will make light work of any chopping. The combination of fresh ingredients and a light, vinegar-free dressing will ensure you never buy ready-made again.

Ingredients
  • 300g White or Red Cabbage (stem removed)
  • 1 Red or Green Apple (cored)
  • 1 Medium Carrot (peeled)
  • 1 Small Red Onion (peeled)
  • 2 Large Dollops of Mayonnaise
  • 2 Large Dollops of Greek Yoghurt
  • Salt & Pepper to Taste

Method
  1. Using the Chopping Bowl Attachment of the Dualit 700W Hand Blender, slice the cabbage, apple, onion and carrot.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Greek yoghurt, before adding a little salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Add in the chopped vegetables and gently mix all together.
  4. Arrange in a shallow salad bowl and serve.

Tips...

  • For a vegan alternative, use veganaise and plain soy yoghurt in place of mayonnaise and Greek yoghurt.
  • Store your coleslaw in an airtight container in the fridge for up to to days.
