Strawberry Sparkle

This cocktail is just perfect for special occassions. Champagne and strawberries are a match made in heaven!

Strawberry Sparkle

Preparation Time: 5 mins + 30 mins freezing

This cocktail is just perfect for special occasions. Champagne and strawberries are a match made in heaven!

Ingredients

  • A handful of ripe Strawberries
  • Champagne, sparkling wine, lemonade, or ginger ale
  • Strawberry flavoured popping candy for decoration (optional)
  • Honey (optional)

Method

  1. Blend fruit in beaker using the Hand Blender wand.
  2. Remove and place in ice cube tray.
  3. Freeze for 30 mins.
  4. Place partially frozen fruit cubes in champagne saucers.
  5. Pour over desired drink: Champagne, sparkling wine, lemonade or ginger ale.
  6. Serve with strawberry on side of glass.

Surprise Twist

Use strawberry flavoured popping candy to decorate each glass. Spread a thin layer of honey around the tops of the glasses, then dip into a plate of popping candy until coated.
